Rolling Mill Safety to operate with 150 mm Billets
Copar has developed a calculation study to check the equipment and operation safety considering to increased the billet size in a rolling mill in Guatemala. The rolling mill should operate with 150 x 150 mm billets. This was the rolling safety calculation project number 153 developed by Copar Engenharia.

New Roll Pass Designs for Customers
Copar Engenharia has developed 5 new roll pass designs in the last 3 months. Three new roll pass designs were developed in Paraguay: roughing mill 3 High, rebar 8mm with slitting in 2 strands, and rebar 10mm with slitting in 2 strands too (roll pass designs 139 to 141). A new roll pass design has been developed for a rolling mill in Colombia. The mill produces wire rods and rebars in coils (roll pass design 142).
