New Roll Pass Designs for Customers
Copar Engenharia has developed 5 new roll pass designs in the last 3 months. Three new roll pass designs were developed in Paraguay: roughing mill 3 High, rebar 8mm with slitting in 2 strands, and rebar 10mm with slitting in 2 strands too (roll pass designs 139 to 141). A new roll pass design has been developed for a rolling mill in Colombia. The mill produces wire rods and rebars in coils (roll pass design 142). Rolls Safety for I Beam
Study to determine the operational safety of rolls in the production of beam profiles was developed in April 2019 for an important rolling mill in Brazil. With the results of the study the mill can operate under safer conditions in these products. This was the project 152 on safety of rolling equipment.
