HRS Tour
Technical Mode
Pass deformation calculation: area reduction, spread, elongation, and height reduction, and operational calculation for rolls diameter, bite angle, speeds and productions.
Calculation of the tension between stands in continuous rollling mills, and calculation of the stock temperature considering rolling mill layout.
Forces calculation: resistance to deformation, forces, torque and power, and roll pass design for steel long products.
Motor mode
Graphics display for operation of motors in rolling mills with speed variation. The user immediately observes if the simulated pass can operate with the selected motor. It eliminates surprises caused by improper operation of motors in speed, torque and power. The user can check if the gear ratio of the gear box is suitable for the drive of the stand.
